Ex signed a quit deed for his half of our primary residence to come to me as part of the divorce settlement. However, a judgement lien against him exists on the property he transfered to me (the primary residence for me and two kids). If he looses his civil case, can the court force me to sell my residence? Did I inheret the lien? Can I remove the lien from my residence? Thank you for your insight!
