Connecticut is still a "fault" state in the sense that the court may take into account the acts of the parties in causing the breakdown of the marriage in making financial awards. It is not the case that adultery only affects custody issues; indeed, adultery rarely matters in resolvoing a disputed custody matter. You should rely on your own attorney's advice in this matter.
