Hi,
I am writing concerning adjustments to child support when a child is handicapped and may be assigned to a long term care facility. I.E. If a child is in your custody and you are receiving child support payments from your ex spouse and then it is necessary for you to place your child in a long term (6 months or more) facility (which those costs will be covered by the government) what types, if any, modifications could be made regarding your spouses eligibility to make child support payments to you. I would still have to take care of the childs clothing and other necessities.
