my husband and i physically separated and he had the address changed on our cell phones. they were originally registered with an firm he used to work for...i asked that my cell phone records be sent to our home, but he won't do it. he even password protected the account. i explained the situation to the phone company and evencalled security explaining he has been abusive and violent in the past but they say only he can have the records. i also explained that some of his women friends have been calling me and got my unlisted home number probably off the records...I know he's doing all this to track my calls. i tried to cancel my number, but they won't let me because i am not the principle account holder so i can't take action on my own phone or change my number! this is so insane....the only recourse i have would be to purchase a new phone, buthe has ruined my credit because he hasn't paid my bills in a timely fashion. I don't have an attorney and just wondered what type of action i can take to get my records protected and sent to me. It is very frustrating....
