In theory, you must apply in Florida to modify a Florida order, since, under the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act, that state has continuing exclusive jurisdiction to modify its own order as long as one of the parties still resides there. You may be able to use the interstate system, however, to obtain modification. I suggest you call the nearest Connecticut Support Enforcement office and ask if they can initiate the modification for you in Florida.
