We split our time between residences in New York City and CT, but with our taxes filed in New York. My husband was a full-time resident of CT when we were married. Obviously the time frame for divorce in CT is shorter than that of NYC, so we would like to file in CT. This will be an uncontested divorce, and our interest is in having it over with as quickly as possible.
Can we file in CT?
