My husband and I currently live in Connecticut. What happens if I file, and then move out of state? Do I have to remain in the state while the proceedings are taking place or is it enough that I was a resident when the first paperwork was filed? And what happens if he moves out of state, as well?
My worry/concern is that if we both move to other states, that we have to wait to establish residency or jurisdiction elsewhere!
