I am a mother of a 4 year old son whose father has been in prison for felony DUI's he was gone for 2 years and 7 months he has been out for 6 months. we went to court and agreed for him to have supervised visitation by his wife. one day a week for 9 hours he has had him 4 times I have since found out that there has been 7 episodes where the police have been called out there for domestic violence no my son was not there but i do not want to take a chance i am taking him back to court to see if i can make the visitation be supervised by me until I an be sure that my son will not be subjected to this. I exspecially would like in put on how long do you think it will be before he has to stay every other weekend with him. My son does not know this man as his father just a play mate. His father saw him 16 times the first year and went to prison when he was a year old and did not get out until my son was four. Please give me some input so I can maybe have some knowledge of what to ask for or use against him we go to court this week to see if I can get this order revoked until we go to trial court. He also is asking for joint
ustody after being gone this long does he have a chance/
