I am recently divorced and my former wife is getting remarried. The divorce took almost two years to resolve, and during that time I became an Orthodox Christian. This may seem like a strange question but I do not know where to go ask except here. I am an Orthodox Christian and have deep desire to follow a monastic life, what are the laws in regard to trying to prohibit me of this? My former wife claims that she will have me jailed, etc. I do not know where the laws are in relation to my religious freedom. Please help in this matter.
